the basic idea is very good ... but i think that every service must be free.

now meemi go out in 6 languages (italian, english, french, spanish, german and pourtughese) ... because we believe in "share to wkoeledge" or "background noise" in the world

but i respect every users ... I = boss and creator ... and for this i make our interface in othe languages.

sono perfettamente d'accordo con il boss. Se usi la web interface di gmail come posta, rischi di mischiare due livelli d'uso troppo diversi. Se invece non lo usi (come me e tanta altra gente che usa un client locale), il fatto di doverlo usare in GMail invece che su un sito apposito meglio strutturato, non migliora certo l'usabilità.

E poi i social dipendono dalle loro comunità. C'è veramente bisogno dell'ennesima copia delle cose che puoi fare dappertutto? Penso che con le risorse di Google, si potrebbe tranquillamente pensare a qualcosa di completamente diverso, come avrebbe dovuto essere Wave, ma magari assumendo un esperto di interfacce

cmq con una imprecisione sulla ui di linux
la prima faceva, ben prima di gnome e kde, (non era affatto male contrariamente a quanto detto) faceva riferimento a delle librerie non open, che a un certo punto vennero a mancare (chiuse la casa che le aveva) e il pinguino rischio di non nascere mai
tante cose nacquero da questo e non dal pur stacitato l'"esser o non esser" dei driver stampanti (cosa nata negli anni 60)
ecco perché all'inizio kde non era ben vista

You can easily listen to music and watch videos from youtube by artist/song name.

LookFM does away with the YouTube interface and presents your search results in immediate full-screen mode (and at high quality if available).

The search interface is easy – just a google style search panel and the video will open in full screen mode, saving you the hassle of adjusting the youtube settings and re-selecting quality etc.

If you want to watch youtube videos easily and quickly without all the distractions of the youtube interface, then LookFM is worth a look.
