No yard fires yet (that I know of), but I never know what to expect around here. Random fireworks have been going off all day.
Lots of fireworks, really close. Cops should be back soon. Half the yard watered so far.
A cop just issued the first "illegal fireworks" ticket of the evening at the intersection near our house. More are sure to come. Watering heavily.
"I woke up and Scotty was squeezing the honker." What hubby meant was, he was awakened by Scotty chewing on a squeaky dog toy.
Beautiful weather. Hot tea with honey and some good music are just the ticket.
Someone around here is either setting off firecrackers or randomly shooting a gun. Probably fireworks. I'll water the yard tomorrow night just in case.

Football over. Now it's time for Monday night rearranging. And maybe more carpet-ripping. Yuck.
