Apparently my HOA's definition for 'End of the Month' is today, based on how they're sending their '$100 mowing crew' through the neighborhood this morning

Ahh, vindication -- after 6+ months of telling them they had a problem, and that it wasnt there until they tore up the intersection last summer running a new water pipe -- the City of Denton has finally found the minor water leak that has been eroding the street to my neighborhood. Exactly where they were told it was.

Trying to remember if election years were this polarizing when I was a kid, or if this is the unfortunate result of the political theatre and 'wedge issue tactics' i've seen so strongly pushed from both sides over the last 16 years

Good golly -- before we go and build a moon colony, can we first fix all the crumbling infrastructure we already have, make sure that no child goes hungry, and provide access to equitable healthcare to all regardless of income? Lofty goals are admirable, but are no substitute for societal priorities.
